(The bug led to the video appearing in front of the controls. But these days for some reason youtube and other video formats lose all sound whenever I try to use the extension. And need to be refreshed to get sound again.

Starting with version 3.2.4 (it's live now! you can update the extension in Extensions -> Settings -> Check for Updates), audio should not be muted on any websites, and audio recording should work perfectly almost everywhere, including with the cursed Reddit video player.
