Для аккаунтов после июня 2017 года вход через веб-интерфейс заблокирован.
Нет смысла ставить ни sbwtw/pidgin-wechat(для Pidgin), ни WeChat sidebar
(для Firefox), ни dawndiy/electronic-wechat-snap(Ubuntu).
. Все они работают через веб-интерфес, то есть заблокированы.

体验极其差，安装以后登录，把微信里边的一段内容传到电脑，传过来以后都显示不完整（侧边栏宽度受限，内容不自动换行），点复制也没有反应，ctrl+c也没有反应，真的烂

火狐浏览器亲测，已经无效了。登陆又自动退出

But the extension is working perfect. I think it could be yourself problem.
