I have to imagine that the reason this ext broke is as a direct result of the website changing its url's from 'twitter.___' to 'x.___', seeing as the ext's permissions description reads, "This add-on needs to:

Access your data for sites in the twitter.com domain"
if it gets fixed "and i realize" i can come change my review, but for the moment its busted
