- Rated 1 out of 5by Bright-FF, 19 days agoHiding previously free features behind a paywall, instead of developing new features to justify a payment, is a dark pattern.
And this is not even touching on the fact, how ridiculous it is to expect a freaking subscription for such an addon. - Rated 1 out of 5by Some User, a month agothat's a really bad thing. if you want to somehow make it not look terrible, you have to pay them 12 bucks a year. even firefox new tab has a better experience.

- Rated 1 out of 5by dex138, a year agoWas using it and liking it just fine.... until they made the Custom URL option part of the Pro package... that you have to pay for... BBYE!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18474950, a year agoУжасное дополнение. Бесконечный цикл при переходе. Часто ломает работу браузера. Удалил. Нашел прекрасную альтернативу
- Rated 1 out of 5by Winkler, a year agoPay for pro account to use custom icons? Why? It was a good feature, now I'll search for something similar... there are many of them. Very bad decision to remove it.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18253119, 2 years agoJust realized that you need to pay for pro account to use custom icon which was a free option before, now I switched to Group Speed Dial that does the same thing but with more customization options.

- Rated 1 out of 5by DDRitter, 2 years agoSpeed Dial 2 for Chrome does not force you to pay in order to customize the tile icon, but Speed Dial 2 for Firefox does.
This is useless as it is. A pretty new page with web thumbnails is dumb. - Rated 1 out of 5by Adobe Wan Kenobi, 2 years agoThis extension used to offer a feature that is very useful which I used to create nearly every shortcut link (since I develop web pages) — custom URLs for the website thumbnail; HOWEVER, after an update, the developers converted this feature into a SUBSCRIPTION–ONLY option, making a once–free option a paid–only option, rendering the extension almost useless to me unless I choose to become a victim of their extortion scheme.
This should never be allowed because there is no justification in charging monthly money for something that has ALREADY BEEN DEVELOPED and worked without needing any code updates, as it constitutes a BAIT–AND–SWITCH tactic which is illegal in most jurisdictions.
Sure, charge a monthly fee for hard cost items like online cloud storage, any–device settings synchronization, and image upload to their servers, but putting a custom URL to pull an image places ZERO financial burden on their company and they should be warned / removed from the Mozilla extension store for such tactics unless they RESTORE this previously extant app functionality.
