Man muss also für jede Plattform neu lernen.

I was used to an easy environment and now I find it very complicated. Why should I log in before I decide to ask for a password? The old version was much more easier to use.

No problems my end with Internet connection. I am not happy at all. I have been using Firefox for years with out a hitch. Going to ver. 8 has really confused me. If I understand the setup correctly, 1) because of the conversion to a new data format I have to open a new data account to keep the old data and new data separate.
Fine I think I understand that. The problem is 2) I can not use my email address that I have used for years. I don't have an additional address. If I uses my current address then it merges the two databases. The blending of both databases could make my data unusable. Then I have zip. I don't want zip, I'd like to use Roboform. Please have one of your techs give me some options on how to correct or work around this issue. Don't put this out as a review. Just list it as an issue I'm having a problem with. Thank you.

1) Lower toolbar does NOT show logins for the window with focus. I have a window minimized and that is the one that is showing in the lower toolbar. When I click on a tab in this window that requires entry of a password, the RoboForm entry for the minimized window still shows. It is worse than useless.
2) More often than not, when I select the login information from the 'lower toolbar' the information is NOT inserted into the fields. I have to open the editor and copy and paste the information that I need to put into the fields.
I really should go back to RoboForm Version 7 even if it does stop working with Firefox soon, it is way more useful and less annoying than this version 8.4.1.1
Once the 30 day trial runs out, I will definitely be looking into a different Password Manager that works with Firefox. (Unless Siber Systems can resolve these show stopper problems before then.)
- I absolutely hate the 8.4 toolbar add-on. After using roboform for over 9 years, The bottom toolbar is often in the way at the bottom of the screen covering up site information. Typically humans using a browswer have bookmarks and controls in the upper left area of the browser and even the browser menu visible if you have those turned on to show. There is a reason to have all the controls in a general location for ease of use. Having to sweep your eyes to the bottom of the screen? It's counter-intuitive. Having to move your eyes AND your mouse the bottom of the screen to use the attempt of the former roboform toolbar and controls hoping to work like they used to is tiring and making using the web NOT FUN. If you hide the bottom tool-bar the click-to-open bookmark in the toolbar icon. The functionality is limited in this menu. This new interface should be persitently matching against my data providing action click rather than having to click deeper into an area. One would expect the pop-down interface from the toolbar icon to at least inspect the website your on to do the typical automatic site-search-match against my password library. No-go though. I have to use the search context which the results do not have right-click options as the regular passcard options do when right-clicking. Even the bottom toolbar doesn't always recognize the site your on - sometimes I have to refresh the site for the bottom toolbar notice the site and find a match. I'm hoping someone is working nights/weekends & overtime to try to fix the roboform toolbar to be human friendly again. Very unhappy.

- I needed to transfer my passwords from FF to Chrome, because FF is becoming unuseable and nasty. It was already plagued by an insane memory management, but now they broke all their extensions, and they plan to "monetarize" the knowledged of your clicks undercover of "privacy" (see clickz).
Direct import doesn't work ATM, I guess that FF changed their password saving system again, that's logical if they want to prevent users to go.
Roboform is advertised as "#1 password manager". So I installed it. I expected at least to be able to import my FF passwords there.
No way. The procedure to import, step 1 "Click on RoboForm icon > Tools > Import "... but there is NO such tool.
Is it a paying feature ?
In all case, a password manager that doesn't manage no password is a piece of crap.
Uninstalled.
