    It does not go under Linux. This is unchecked: Warning: Native application is not installed or not available. Install it to enable streaming video downloads. But what do I do with a Windows file that you offer to download?

    Unfortunately at this moment Native Application used for communication with browser extension, configuration files and required dependency libraries is only available for Windows, versions for Linux and macOS are under development.

    New version is horrible, going back to v3, I prefer a tab with details than a popup.

    Started out using Ant Video Downloader a couple of years ago, very satisfactory. However, updates have now made it impossible to use on sites that were once very accessible and friendly. Those of us who are not tech whizzes are constantly frustrated by the techies who regularly fix things that ain't broke.

    Ant used to be easy, one click download, that was it, even from youtube. Now Ant doesn't work anymore on many websites, thanks to those automatic updates. Mozilla and Ant are turning into Internet Explorer. Useless tools.

    used ant in 2000. it was a funny little tool.

    after a click on the icon, a new tab opens.
    having only one tab, the one with the video, loaded, it finds other tabs also who are not.

    the download entries in the appearing list constantly switch places with one another, fast.

    and if i finally manage to click it... nothing happens.

    4th downloader i tried so far who doesn't work.

    très déçu de la mise à jour qui a suivi le passage de mozilla en version 62, plus rien à voir avec l'ancienne version qui était ergonomique, pratique et simple

    Unfortunately old AVD version is not compatible with Firefox 57 and above anymore. You can install old AVD version in Firefox 56 and below from Mozilla website here: https://addons.vaultpit.io/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloader-player/versions/

    Worked once then got prompted to install the app , then never worked afterwards, though it displayed the successful download but never found. Too bad had to remove after years of use.
