    I still can't find a good addon for youtube summaries.. This one at least WORKS compared to the others that are available at the moment but it has a major flaw.

    The "summaries" are extremely long and wordy even on the "short" setting. We should be able to customize the prompt because it obviously isn't that good for short summaries...

    3 Requests:
    1. Make the "short" setting produce short summaries.
    2. Allow choosing a custom prompt
    3. Allow choosing OpenAI API using own API key

    Great addon, incredibly polished, the only thing that it is missing is the ability to chat with the summary bot, and to add our own api for our chosen chatbot. Please if you see this review add the ability to chat with the summary bot, oftentimes, the summary of the video is way too long, much appreciated

    this add-on creates very good summaries of movies so you can save a lot of time or even before watching the movie find out if the movie is worth watching or if it's just clickbait. It works great with both English and Polish movies. I recommend

    Its a great extension, But I'd like to have options to use my own API key, select the model and input custom prompts to it, maybe having different prompts for different kind of videos to get the most of the thing.

    Perfect for sifting vacuous 20min "algorithm" videos.

    My only critique is that the 'short' answers are still very long.

    Thank you for making this! It is the only youtube summarizer that actually works on firefox. I have a request. It would be great if the ai can include time stamps of the bullet points

    works. but some videos summarize to Russian Lang. I cannot read Russian.

    Good afternoon, thanks for your feedback. This bug may be due to the fact that the language of the subtitles does not match the language of the video in some video. This problem comes from YouTube, but I will try to fix it in the extension in a future update.
