Sadly this very good addon was bought by snakeoil-company Avast. Not trustworthy anymore, so I guess I have to use something else from now on. What a pity!

Daniel from Croatia is the creator of this addition, which has been financially supported by donors over the years. Now these donors felt cheated by Daniel because he sold the entire project together with the add-on's user data to a "Czechoslovakian" corporation repeatedly suspected of unethically trading in the user data of their products (e.g. Avast Antivrus, Ccleaner etc).
Shame on you Daniel.
You built this tool together with the donors, and now you pefidly "sold" them for 30 pieces of silver. Pecunia non olet...

I appreciate the popup about being acquired. If it was some sneaky acquisition I probably wouldn't have heard about it.

Regardless, I will be switching to the best alternative: Consent-O-Matic. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE DOES THE SAME.

I also hope Firefox un-recommends this addon.

I get money is nice, but it's a shame to let go of an extension I have used for years.

I repeat: DO NOT DOWNLOAD. UNINSTALL IF YOU HAVE IT. This is NOT a privacy-safe extension anymore!

Avast has now taken control of / ownership of this addon, I would recommend uninstalling it, and finding another alternative.

Avast will sell your data for millions of dollar, avoid this spyware.

The add-on is now governed by a "trustworthy IT company", as the dev has just called it (had to check the date wasn't April 1st). Said company is in the business of selling your personal information and it just bought itself some more userbase. Uninstalled. Thankfully a better alternative already existed, called Consent-O-Matic

Was awesome until Avast bought it. Look at what happened to CCleaner /Piriform. Abandon this software NOW and seek an alternative.

Loved this add-on and will miss it, but I will not keep using it post-acquisition.

No longer recommending this add-on to friends and no longer planning to use it for myself since the developers have cheerfully announced their partnership with Avast, a company that is well-known for selling the user data of over 100 million users - without consent, of course.

Unlike some reviews before myself, I -WILL- call out the author for not being able to resist whatever reward or financial gain this partnership will bring them. Shame on you for being the sell-out that you are.
