    Would be also useful for shortened URLs for Bitly links and tiny URLs would change to tiny url previews as well.

    Thanks for your positive feedback. Unfortunately, it is not possible to unshorten shortened URLs without a server as intermediary. Therefore we have decided against this feature. Further discussions about this can be found in this ticket: https://gitlab.com/KevinRoebert/ClearUrls/-/issues/467#note_327479440

    I've been using this add-on for awhile and I really like it. It does its thing in the backgroundm and I never even notice.

    Except today. I had a site that would not work properly. When I disabled ClearURLs, it worked fine. When I enabled ClearURLS again, it stopped working again.

    This is a site I will be using very often so right now my only option is to disable ClearURLs entirely. If there were a "whitelist" option, I could just whitelist a specific domain. As it is now, I'll have to stop using the add-on completely.

    Thanks for your positive feedback. A whitlist feature is planned. But the development always takes a little longer as an one man team.

    It's nice, but some websites won't work well with this addon, such as comment on bilibili.com wont show.

    Great addon! The only thing missing that it could really use is the ability to whitelist -- whitelist by domain, or even better, whitelist by any part of a URL that's seen.

    As an example, the Skip-Redirect addon does this, and it works well (I'm not advertising that addon; they're different addons that serve different purposes). Otherwise, you have to disable this addon's functionality altogether when a certain site isn't working.

    What would also be great is if there was a notification or popup that could appear when stripping occurs. Skip-Redirect also does this and it's helpful to know, since sometimes functionality on a site breaks and it can be confusing what caused it (the website itself, uBlock Origin, Skip-Redirect, other addons, etc).

    Thanks for your positive feedback. You can see a little orange badged at the top right corner from the ClearURLs icon, that increases with every action ClearURLs takes for the current URL in the active tab.

    Good extension. But there is a problem: it blocks playback on sites.
    Instead of the video we get the text:
    "Cyclical redirection on the page

    Firefox has determined that the server redirects the request to this address in such a way that it will never end.

    This problem may occur when disabling or prohibiting the acceptance of cookies."

    What is the problem?

    Can you please describe your problem in more details. The best way to do this is to open an issue at the gitlab page of ClearURLs or email me to [email protected] and please add the log to your report.
