Acerca desta extensão
Tracker Spoof Shield protects you from browser and device fingerprinting—one of the most persistent forms of online tracking. Even if cookies are blocked, sites can still “pin” you using subtle signals like Canvas rendering quirks, WebGL details, Audio fingerprints, hardware info, or WebRTC IP leaks.
This add-on breaks that link by generating unique, stable, and randomized profiles per website, so you look consistent within a site but different across sites. That means trackers can’t follow you around the web, while your favorite sites still work smoothly.
✨ Key Features:
Per-Site Fingerprint Profiles: Stable within each origin, randomized across origins.
Canvas & WebGL Noise: Subtle, invisible changes that break hash-based tracking.
Audio Fingerprint Defense: Adds tiny, deterministic noise to prevent identification.
Navigator/Screen Spoofing: Returns realistic but randomized hardware & system data.
WebRTC Leak Guard: Blocks or redacts local IP exposure, with per-site toggles.
Fonts/Text Metrics Protection: Adds micro-jitter or normalizes font exposure.
Privacy Dashboard: See what was spoofed, per-site status, and quick toggles.
Profile Rotation: Optional periodic reseeding for extra protection.
Modes: Balanced (default), Paranoid, and Compatibility for maximum flexibility.
🔒 Privacy First:
No servers, no telemetry, no external requests.
All spoofing happens locally on your device.
Your settings and profiles stay private in local storage.
🛡️ Why Tracker Spoof Shield?
Unlike blanket blockers, this extension makes your browser appear as many unique “digital personas,” breaking cross-site correlation while keeping browsing seamless. You stay in control with per-site overrides and a clear view of what’s happening behind the scenes.
