This issue was reported recently on our GitHub Issues and the conclusion the reporter came to was that this behavior happens even without BetterTTV installed. If you're still having trouble, I'd recommend reaching out to our team so we can provide you with instructions on how to obtain performance stats that might allow us to better understand the root cause for your device.

I use both BTTV and FFZ for different reasons and they don't conflict with each other, both great extensions on their own.
