Now it's bloatware that crashes firefox and causes massive memory leaks. Some genius decided to mess with something that didn't need to be messed with. Pity.
**UPDATE
Useless developers are now telling users to reset the add-on when the massive memory leak occurs and assume this is actually a fix. Laughable. Devs, you need to trash this update and go BACK to the old version pronto.개발자 답글

Before update worked very well and very fast. Fire the new programmer. Update back to the old version.

Now after the 'revamp' it is unusable. The new UI is messy, the settings are severly lacking, it does not show the videos to the right sorting rules, it shows videos from all tabs in a specific one, it goes on and on. It is a nightmare. Unusable at this current state. Need a rollback as soon as possible or this is going to go to the addon graveyard.
Edit: Now, and apparently it happened to plenty others according to comments. Something happened in the past day or so, and there is a crazy memory leak. To the point not just firefox froze and became unusable, but I had to force boot my machine. Had to manually remove each addon to be sure Ant was the culprit, even though it was the obvious suspect.개발자 답글

It has been completely ruined, the UI is so bad, most of the time it doesn't even load the video list of a specific page. And what's up with the full history off all videos you came across, this thing is buggy as hell now! I guess, good job for ruining your extension, if this doesn't get fixed, it will be dead very soon.

In case of problems with detection at some website please contact with the link to the video to our support here: https://www.ant.com/support_form- This worked fine a couple days ago, then an update hit that made it so if you tried to check on a download the page would keep everything that it could download in the list which lead to thousands of idle downloads when you watched something from twitch or youtube that would lock down firefox if you tried to view downloads. Even though they said they would automatically be deleted they werent. Flash forward to today where another update hit that added a manual clear list that does absolutely nothing. The add on also likes to just stop working mid download and again if you try and check on it loading all videos locks down firefox. The add on also likes to just stop working now from time to time. It wont even load the box to see if there are videos that could be downloaded when you click on it.

Well, the latest version arrived just in time to fuck up my browser when the old version was disabled, meaning that while I tried to figure out what the fuck was going on, I lost out on a time sensitive video that's no longer available! Thanks a lot fucksticks, you've managed to prove you're retarded as ever. How about a fucking heads-up next time you stupid shit stains? Put a fucking indicator dot or something on the menu bar icon to let people know it needs to be updated, for fucks sake, how fucking hard is that!!! Not that it would really matter, i suppose, considering it's next to fucking impossible to open the settings page when there's no video to download or it's not being detected.... Testing it now; still slower than fuck on larger videos=bullshit. Used to be one click downloading, now multiple clicks to start=more fucking bullshit. I fucking HATE that you removed the progress bar!!! Whose bright idea was that?!! Is there some sort of never ending contest around the office to see which asshole can shit out the biggest log of an update? Great job ass-hats, can't wait for your next colossal, fecal brainstorm.

UPDATE, January 7, 2022:
"Currently, we're unable to reproduce the issue, but we suspect it may be caused when updating from version 4.9 to 4.10, and then to 4.11-4.12.
The problem may be in the data left from version 4.9. Unlike Chromium-based browsers, Firefox does not delete extension storage when you uninstall it, even in debugging mode.
Try resetting Ant Video downloader, go to Settings - Reset, click the WIPE OUT AND RESET button. This will delete any data in the extension storage, and reload the extension."
I've uninstalled and updated to the "latest version" which on my settings page shows "Version 4.11 (build 1, release)", NOT version 4.12 and there is no "Settings - Reset" option and no "WIPE OUT AND RESET button" anywhere to be seen...
WHAT THE EVER LOVING FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!!! STOP FUCKING ABOUT AND REVERT IT BACK TO 4.9 WHICH WORKED JUST FINE YOU STUPID FUCKING ASSHOLES!!!!!!개발자 답글

The interface is awful, successful detection of videos has decreased, and I'm unable to cancel so many entries that appear to be stuck in download mode. For the love of god, please reinstate the previous version please.

Please contact with the link to advertising page to our support so we could check it: https://www.ant.com/support_form- Old version would show up in the downloads window, which made perfect sense. Now, you have no idea the status of the download or if it even started unless you constantly go back up and click on the icon and check, or if you open the downloads in another tab, not sure why anyone would want to have to do this. The downloader still works great, but removing the download from the ACTUAL DOWNLOAD WINDOW that pops up with any other download was a very idiotic move.
