Diagon Alleycat によるレビュー (4年前)TO FIX THE PROBLEM, I went back to version 1.1.6 which also uses the older detection algorithm and that works great for me (five stars great). Other users may want to do the same until the bugs are worked out of the latest release. On the options page for this extension, I set "Allow automatic updates" to OFF since I don't want 1.1.6 to be replaced by that buggy new version. Once the bugs are fixed, I'll set it back to the Default value again.

It would need an update to again become one of the best YouTube downloaders out there, because that's what it was. Also it was one of the most versatile tools.
Once it got 5 stars from me using a different account, currently only one star because you can't vote zero stars.

So I did let it live in my firefox out of hope that someday there may be an update which would get it working again.
But I think after three years of waiting in vain, it's safe to pronounce this add-on dead, uninstall it and look for alternatives.
So long, and thanks for all the videos, but I guess it's time to move on.
