Ant downloader just asks for a Native application file to use which never downloads!

Work great for a long time but recently when I click on the download button I just get a blank white box pop up, I removed and reinstalled it which worked for a few days but back to the blank box again

It took numerous tries to download, then I had to download another app. This is all supposed to be transparent to the uninitiated user, aka me. It is incredibly slow on YouTube downloads and the "time remaining" estimates are wildly optimistic. Not a pleasant experience, to be used only in emergencies.
