Not a fan of having it at the bottom.
Once it can be moved restore ability for it to have transparent boxes so I can see my background. - Diberi peringkat 1 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 13281394, 8 tahun yang laluThis option was removed it: go to Options in ForecastFox, you find that it places a ✥ (+) character for you to move the location. You can't move it using the normal Firefox way of moving such items.

- Diberi peringkat 3 dari 5oleh Marcome Yates, 8 tahun yang laluI miss the old version that would be in your status bar and not a button to hover above it. I had the old version working in the last version of Firefox, but now they have this Legacy thing, and previous version won't work anymore. Wish the fixed version would work in statusbar.
- Diberi peringkat 5 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 12358661, 8 tahun yang laluI do enjoy this thats why I gave it 5 stars. I just miss the ability to be able to move the status bar of the weather from the bottom to the top. Could you consider bring this feature back.
- Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Idaho Jim, 8 tahun yang laluI may be an older stick in the mud as preferred the Add-On bar method. Was not obtrusive and didn't have some button floating around to get in the way of normal mouse movement.
Currently this add-on seems to be for a left handed person. Would be better if that floating icon had options to be removed or relocated elsewhere.
As it is the right-hand side is an annoying area. Why not have the option to put it on the far left-hand side? Rarely does my mouse go there, and on most topic pages and social media the left side would make more sense.
Or better yet, Firefox still has ITS OWN Add-On Toolbar under View > Toolbars. If that icon could be moved to there, or to run horizontally across there, uniformly (instead of the current staggered formation) that would be worthy of itself.
Firefox already had an icon with a Sun, showed 86°, so added that to Firefox's Add-On Bar, which gives me 6 days of forecast. Am guessing Firefox sees an Accuweather link so it added that option. Still, the Umbrella icon sits on the right-side, and no way to move it anywhere on the page to some other location - like the upper-left for instance, or in another bar.
Still, the Forecast Fox still thrives and gives us an option, even if we do not like it, to see the weather on demand. Me, I would MUCH RATHER have it in on Add-On or Extra Tool Bar and displayed horizontally all the time, that can be glanced at, and not be in the way of my other tasks.
I ride a pedal-powered vehicle and I want to know what days look the best for a local or distance ride, or plan my field related work accordingly, and on the fly. Is why I like to see at least 4 days in advance what the weather is going to look like when I have Firefox loaded.
Since this option is not inherently available, cannot give it the 5 stars I would have if it could be more functionally usable as a passive interface - rather than invoked one. - Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh eroock, 8 tahun yang lalu... the expanded version could sit on the New Addon Bar (like the old Forecast Fox did) where it wouldn't block the text in the bottom part of the screen. https://addons.vaultpit.io/en-US/firefox/addon/new-add-on-bar/

New Add-on Bar - will die in November like all other xul-addons - Diberi peringkat 5 dari 5oleh Netscaper, 8 tahun yang laluThat said, Mozilla products, particularly its (Firefox) browser is hopelessly bad year after year. dikirim 8 tahun yang laluversion 2.4.8 (last for XUL-technology) - is broken: City search does not work
I could not fix and make version 2.4.9, because 2.4.8 uses the outdated version of jQuery
jQuery 1.x is now forbidden by Mozilla, read more: https://bit.ly/1TRIyZY
and I had to choose - either completely rewrite code for WebExtensions (version 3.4) or completely rewrite code for a new jQuery (version 2.4.9)
I chose WebExtensions.

But I want to please you - in new versions of Firefox, including in Firefox Nightly 57.0a1 (2017-08-02), this problem has already been fixed - Diberi peringkat 5 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 13173634, 8 tahun yang lalu

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=2913287- Diberi peringkat 5 dari 5oleh alex26, 8 tahun yang laluHello,
Thanks for your job, it's the best weather extension, very simply to use.
But i have a suggestion for the new weather bar: In the last versions (2.4.8 in Firefox especially) with the addon bar, all weather informations (7 days with nights) was on one line.
Now with the new version and new bar (web extension), to display all info (days and nights), it takes 2 lines.
Would it be possible to make it possible to have the information on a single line as was the case before with the addon bar ? The font size seems to be larger and so the 7 days of forecasts take 2 lines instead of one before.
I now use Opera as a browser because I don't like what Firefox becomes (deletion of extensions, java, flash player, ...) and Operar is lighter. Is theren't on this browser an addon bar similar to the one we had on Firefox?
Sorry for my bad English, i use google translate^^ (thanks for your google translate extension in firefox, it's perfect !)

With the settings you can limit the display of days, nights, icons, labels
> Is theren't on this browser an addon bar similar to the one we had on Firefox?
I do not know.
The current version of Forecastfox uses the same code for Firefox and Chrome (Opera is also based on the Chrome engine)

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=2913287 - Diberi peringkat 2 dari 5oleh JimH, 8 tahun yang laluI can no longer use this add-on as it directly conflicts with web sites and other add-ons. Social Fixer loses icons when this add-on is in use and Forecastfox blocks my ability to sign into Lowe's web page. There maybe more conflicts but I am not aware of them.

With previous versions I could eliminate the radar/sattelite and enjoy everything else. After removing ForecastFox, my pages load smoothly. I've tried everything...but i guess there is no way to eliminate the radar GIF!
- Diberi peringkat 5 dari 5oleh DBR, 8 tahun yang laluWas tired of part or all of aniweather being broken all the time so I decided to look for something new. Saw a suggestion to try Forecast fox & I couldn't be happier. Love the look, layout & multitude of options, although I only changed two the location & Icons because I liked the defaults on all the others. Keep up the good work I love this add-on. :-)
- Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh mike, 8 tahun yang laluI like it, is handy and provides the needed info, but, if Firefox will close support for the XUL, is it possible to have this add-on on some toolbar at least? I don't like it injecting elements in almost any page I open. This is NOT securely because could be used to track user's activity, for instance.
- Diberi peringkat 5 dari 5oleh ononoma, 8 tahun yang laluDear Developer,
Thanks for all your hard work. This extension has been great!
As Mozilla seems to be making future development/updates of really great extensions “precarious” I wanted to find out if this update will be problematic or breakdown in the future? In other words should I stay where I’m at?
I’m currently using ver. 2.48. Everything is working, including location. I’ve disabled auto updates because new FF compliance's have already broken a few extensions (or will cause breakdown in the future). The first example of this coming to mind is/was X-Notifier. The last two versions are FF compliant, but don’t function. They…. suck. Not the developers fault, he warned months ago this would happen with Moz changing policies and updates. Yet everyone initially screamed at him when it broke down. There was a temporarily a work around, rolling back 2 versions. This made everything work again, but then with another FF update, even the legacy version only partly works.
So In regards to your extension, would you recommend updating to the latest version, or stay with the previous one which I’m running?
My Machine; Window 7 64 bit, latest FF 64 bit version for windows.
One more issue, and if you don’t have time for this one no problem.
I’ve read that if users install FF 52 ESR (I’m not sure what it is and if it’s secure), all legacy versions will work. Wouldn’t using a legacy version of FF, as well as extension present a security risk?
This really sucks for FF developers and users. I really hate Chrome, it’s heavy on resources, super proprietary, nosy and intrusive as hell. I have no idea why Moz is killing the best part of FF, the extensions. Especially security and utilities extensions. The other stuff I could care less.
Also, if Moz is going to make life difficult to impossible (depending on which developer you’re talking to, and their extension) for developers, why don’t you all go to Opera? I’m betting a lot of people would follow.
It’s my second choice browser, and although it’s Chromium based, it’s lightweight and even has a VPN built in. But they have mostly lame apps.
You’re opinion/feedback on this whole Moz turning FF into Chrome and how to proceed would be appreciated!
Thanks for every thing!Balasan pengembang

- Diberi peringkat 5 dari 5oleh Ronifae, 8 tahun yang laluAlthough I was unhappy with the removal of the status bar option, I knew there was one more option I could try. So I moved the Forecastfox icon to the sidebar. It is still handy although not as visually accessible as having it laid out on bottom of my window.
Today I installed the latest iteration and now I have not only the sun icon in the sidebar but an umbrella at the lower right of my window.
I don't want the umbrella as the sidebar option gives me all I need with the same effort. How do I get rid of it???
ETA: Thanks, Olesandr. That did the trick. Upgrading my rating.Balasan pengembang

Forecastfox - Settings - Weather forecast bar: Show? - No - Diberi peringkat 1 dari 5oleh remmmie, 8 tahun yang laluFirst THANK YOU for updating Forecastfox. But I don't care what Mozilla says about no more add-on bar after v57, someone will write code to add it back, and many of us simply won't upgrade to 57 until that's available again. If that means not updating FF until Nov 2018 or later, so be it.
ASide from this new vers not being in the add-on bar, I don't like the way it presents. The last version was PERFECT for my tastes... glad I archived a copy. Sorry, this one is not to my liking at all. :(Balasan pengembang
