Works fine if you manage to get through all the hops for initial configuration (Firefox 58.0.1). It didn't picked up my url and didn't showed the rest of the settings (api id, secret etc.) until I restarted Firefox and after I filled the rest of the authentication info it reported the token as expired until the next Firefox restart.
Once it was working I exported the addon configuration (thanks for adding that option) I realized that it is storing passwords in plain text, please, never do this! To be fair, I am not sure if there is support for this in current Firefox api.
But anyway, thanks a lot for providing this addon!
Edit 12.02.2018:
Came back to take back one more start as this addon sends every url you have visited to the wallabag instance you are using (namely to yourwallabag/api/entries/exists.json) even if you never touched the wallabagger button, I find this quite a bad practice.

publicate há 7 anosHi there,
Thanks for using wallabag and wallabagger. You can turn off these calls with the option that indicates you if the page is already saved.
About the password, we are using the Firefox API to store it safely but we will take a look at a better way.
Have a nice day.

publicate há 4 mesesHi there, Firefox for Android changed the way we have to make it works. It's working as expected on Firefox Desktop. One star for an extension you didn't use is kind of rough though. - Classificate 5 de 5per Kelson, há 5 mesesSimilar to Pocket, but you can (optionally) host your own server. Less polished, but it does the job, making it easy to save the current page to read later, with optional tagging in the save dialog.
And it can save the content from the page you're viewing now, which is helpful for sites with login walls.
Setup is a bit clunky, but you only need to do it once. - Classificate 5 de 5per Patreos, há 7 meses

As a [feature request], I would gladly have a darker theme (optional ?) for the popup used to add a page.Responsa de disveloppator
publicate há 10 mesesThanks a lot for your feedback. I created an issue for this feature request: https://github.com/wallabag/wallabagger/issues/409 - Classificate 4 de 5per Usator de Firefox 13875318, há um ano

- I have the same issue as another reviewer. The addon installs and tries to check the URL I typed in, but "Wallabag URL checked" remains at "Not checked" although "Wallabag permission checked" changes to "Agreed."
Clicking the toolbar button throws an error, "api.GetTags().then is not a function."
Wallabag itself is working fine. I'm using a self-hosted Wallabag instance - Wallabag is hosted on my NAS which is on the same LAN as the machine running Firefox and the addon. I can access the Wallabag instance from my laptop and save articles with it, but the addon stops at the "Wallabag permission checked" step like described above, unfortunately :/ - Classificate 4 de 5per don_dolarson, há 2 anosSo far works good, LibreWolf 116.0.2-1. Let's see how it behaves in long term. Registered, created API token, pasted everything needed in the extension and voila. Setup took less than 5 minutes. Easy peasy even for a noob.
The instruction in extension description is more than enough for setting it up using the wallabang instance. Responsa de disveloppator
publicate há 3 anosAre you using a self-hosted instance or wallabag.it? Is it quicker directly through the interface?
Have a nice day.- Classificate 3 de 5per Usator de Firefox 16314216, há 3 anosReview after developer response:
The url provided in the developer's response fixed my issue, but this addon is still far, far too complex to set up for the average user.
Previous review:
These instructions don't make any sense if you're a paid subscriber. The firefox addon asks for a url, and none is provided in the instructions. I tried https://app.wallabag.it/ (since I'm a paid subscriber) and the options page still says 'url not checked' so I can't get this thing to work.Responsa de disveloppator
publicate há 3 anosHi there, sorry about that. You can fill in the URL with `app.wallabag.it` then click on the test button and authorize the access of this URL. Do you have any installed extension? Can you try it on a fresh Firefox profile? - Classificate 1 de 5per AndrewKantor, há 3 anosCan't get it to work with Firefox 107. It tries to check the URL (which is correct) but "Wallabag URL checked" remains at "Not checked" although "Wallabag permission checked" changes to "Agreed."
Clicking the toolbar button throws an error, "api.GetTags().then is not a function."
Meanwhile, Wallabag itself is working fine, so I don't think the problem is there.Responsa de disveloppator
publicate há 3 anosHi Andrew, I'm really sorry to ear that. Can you tell me what happen when you click on the "Test URL" button? Did you try to remove the extension and install it again? Are you using wallabag.it or a self-hosted instance?
Have a nice day, I hope I'll be able to help you. Responsa de disveloppator
publicate há 3 anosThanks a lot for this nice comment! Glad you like this extension. Have a nice day.- Wallabagger is a great extension that help making the most of a Wallabag instance. Once the initial setup done (which needs Wallabag login & password plus an API client ID & secret Key from your Wallabag instance), the extension works seamlessly.
Wallabagger has a great UI, and is very easy to use. A must have for all Wallabag users.Responsa de disveloppator
