The Note Sidebar browser extension simplifies taking quick notes from your Firefox sidebar. You can take multiple notes that on different tabs. See in the Note Sidebar Options page -> for multiple notes. Additionally, you can export your notes to a txt file. Check out the options page of the Note Sidebar browser extension for more details.
