It works well, but when I sort by the newest comments I can't click anymore. Also PocketTube conflicts with this addon and I can't use them both :(

Edit: I can't use Blocktube because the comment block is broken so I am looking for an alternative

Sorry to hear about the conflict with PocketTube -- I haven't tested that combination. The BlockTube extension has a similar commenter blocker so maybe try that one instead of this one?

I wasn't able to replicate the problem with sorting. I tested using the latest version with last month's bug fixes (0.8.2). But also, Google might be showing you and me different layouts because they are constantly testing interface changes. So maybe it will break for me in the future.

Does what it says, although it doesn't seem to work for shorts.

That makes sense because right now, the script is only injected into "/watch*" and "/post*" pages, not "/shorts*" pages. I added it to the "to do" list: https://github.com/jscher2000/De-Troll-YouTube---Hide-Unwanted-Commenters/issues/10

Works almost perfectly. The only problem I have is that it makes names of verified channels in the comment section show two times for some reason(e.g "@youtubechannel @youtubechannel "). If that is fixed I will change it to 5 stars.

This has been really useful for getting rid of comments, especially after blocktube stopped working

New problem, Edit 2022-12-18
Since Firefox 100.x or so, comments from accounts in the filter list are visible again and only there the trash can is missing. (Version 0.7)

4 Feature-Requests: (1) What about showing a counter? (2) Is it possible syncing the blacklist with all my computers? (3) Or ... export/import my list? (4) Sorting/finding in the list?

Thank you very much for this great idea.
In version 0.7 there are dupes in the list. I click 1x, but after this click the list gets 2 same entries.

Thank you for mentioning both the bugs and feature ideas. I haven't been keeping up with changes in the HTML structure of the comments. Today's version 0.8 should resolve the duplicate trolls and missing trash cans.

So I don't lose track of the suggestions, I added some Issues to the list at https://github.com/jscher2000/De-Troll-YouTube---Hide-Unwanted-Commenters/issues (but I don't know how soon I can get to them)
