The option to remove the URL bar icon no longer exists 🫤

I was frustrated by the number of bookmarks in Firefox that appeared with the generic globe icon, an issue I never encountered in other browsers. Clearing the cache, removing and re-adding bookmarks, resetting the browser, changing privacy settings, deleting bookmark data in profile folders—none of the commonly recommended solutions worked. This tool fixed the problem instantly. Though it's important to note that it's not for websites that don't have a visible favicon to begin with.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS ADD-ON!!! I always seem to have a few random bookmarks that just have the empty globe icon and this fixes that! Extremely useful if you have bookmarks on your toolbar without labels. I've been wishing for this for years.

In the last year, 4 bookmarked websites started to "remove" their icons and it´s quite distracting.

Fantastic addon, fixed almost every issue I was having, the only site I have any issues with now is https://www.mechgroupbuys.com/.

This extension fixed my long term problem of my favorites sites bookmarked without icons. Fucking amazing if you ask me.
