per Jerry, 6 lat temuI really love this reader and been using it for years but ever since the firefox changes many moons ago stuff has broken, and I still can't fix even with the new latest Firefox browser Quantum 67.0.2 64bit. Like one feature I loved was the search bar it doesn't let me search for a news story with in my groups. I can't for the life of me create new folders for each group of feeds such as tv shows or news storys about technology. it just wants to create one super folder. I have no idea where the feeds are stored in the bookmarks.
any help would be great as I feel this is the one and only RSS feeder that works and doen't need a subscription based service.
The creators have done a great job on it, just too bad firefox had to change it's programming so it can't work with new versions.

publicate 6 lat temuThe feeds are no longer stored in bookmarks, but in the Brief's internal database. You can create folders by switching to the Organize mode, clicking a "..." entry and entering the name of the folder to be created.

It's possible to tell it's there - options menus exist, some websites show the subscribe icon, but there's no obvious way to open the reader itself and it may have lost the feed list.
Update: see the response below, this is due to FF UX jank. Click on the "puzzle piece" extensions button, sight the list of extensions, right click on Brief, pick "Pin to toolbar" from the dropdown.Responsa de disveloppator

publicate rok temuThank you for the feedback. As far as I know there's currently no way to do this in a reasonable and secure enough way. I'm tracking related issues and will recheck whether something has changed to allow this.

This feeds reader is the best and most flexible you could possibly find for browsers, in my opinion. It was fantastic, until the search box stopped working. The search box is the absolutely essential base part of this reader. It enabled searching through abstracts and reduce the posts only to matches. Otherwise, reading through 10000 entries per day is impossible. Almost 5 years past, but the search option still not working.
