It still remains one of the 3 essential privacy extensions I insist upon securing your online activities with. The team has always updated the extension consistently and smoothly. Pretty much every other core extension I've used over the years has either had rough patches, controversies, or went straight belly-up. Never a hiccup with this one.

Ghostery blocks all of it. Found out about this wonderful extension when I was looking for an answer to a computer problem. The forum I was in was way above my level of understanding, but someone mentioned Ghostery. I started using it and then recommended it to my computer guy, who uses it now, too! Been a user for >10 years.
