- Valutade 5 su 5di Mardinae, 2 jierren lynWorks great and as advertised, but I have a weird bug where the webp images do not load, kind of annoying unfortunately.
EDIT: Nevermind the bug was my own fault not the add-on's. - Valutade 1 su 5di Niklas C, 2 jierren lynI haven't tried this extensively, but when I drag an image from Firefox to file explorer it is saved as a jpg, but it's still a WebP image only with a renamed extension. Not working as intended.

publicât ai 2 jierren lynHi Niklas, if you right-click > Open Image in New Tab before dragging, the tab should tell you the true format (hold your mouse over the tab to see the full tooltip).
You can test using https://i2.wp.com/radical-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/@Test-BMW-320d-8.jpg -- normally, if you hover your mouse over the tab, it will say it is a WEBP image; with the extension enabled, it should be a JPG image.
If it doesn't work on that one, check whether it's the private window issue: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/extensions-private-browsing
If you want to send me some problem URLs, you can create an issue at https://github.com/jscher2000/dont-accept-webp/issues or email me at [email protected]. - Valutade 5 su 5di DN, 2 jierren lyn

Thank you.
- Valutade 4 su 5di smow, 2 jierren lynIt used to work pretty fine but for some time it doesn't work at all. Still all webp images are accepted.
- Valutade 4 su 5di Ericb45696, 2 jierren lynIt's worked great for the most part for years now but seems to not work on some sites for whatever reasons. Updated, and I tried changing settings back and forth but some sites it just does not work on. Imgur for example, it wont work if I'm on the main page, but if I go ahead and click on an image and then try it , it works. odd. Seem to be finding more sites it just does not work on lately, but it still works on most at least.

- Valutade 4 su 5di Utent Firefox 17875336, 2 jierren lynDoesn't seem to work. I've selected strip webp and avif, but both the developer console and https://www.whatismybrowser.com/detect/what-http-headers-is-my-browser-sending say I'm still sending webp and avif in the Accept header.
Edit: Strangely, toggling the "Run in Private Windows" to "Allow" and back to "Don't allow" (which is my desired setting) fixed the issue, even though I always ran the tests in normal browsing instead of private browsing. I'm unable to replicate this for a proper bug report, but just a FYI for others facing similar issues.Rispueste dal svilupadôr
publicât ai 2 jierren lynIn case you are using private windows, make sure you enabled the add-on to run in private windows: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/extensions-private-browsing
If that's not the problem, hmm, could there be a conflict with a different extension that also modifies request headers? - Valutade 1 su 5di The Virginian, 2 jierren lynInstalled it and tried to save an image and it immediately didn't work. Useless

publicât ai 2 jierren lynWhat this add-on does is remove a signal that Firefox normally sends to the server that your browser can handle WebP images. The idea is to discourage the server from sending WebP in place of JPEG or PNG.
I'm not sure what problem you ran into with saving an image not working, but do you mean you still got a WebP image? That definitely can happen when the site insists on sending you one, or when the page is using a "picture" tag, but this add-on should help on most sites.
If you need an add-on to convert a WebP image to something else, check out https://addons.vaultpit.io/firefox/addon/save-webp-as-png-or-jpeg/ - Valutade 5 su 5di Utent Firefox 5544567, 2 jierren lyn
- Valutade 5 su 5di Utent Firefox 13873945, 3 jierren lynThis is the sort of thing that should be available to toggle in about:config, but I'm glad this extension exists (and does the job well)
- Valutade 5 su 5di Jason, 3 jierren lynIt works. I've been growing increasingly annoyed with the number of sites defaulting to webp and after switching to FF found this gem of an extension on a whim. The majority will settle for webp, I'll take my original formatted files, thanks.
- Valutade 5 su 5di Álvaro González, 3 jierren lynIt does one thing and it does it right. Code is simple and doesn't do anything dodgy.
