So it essentially creates a random password that isn't saved anywhere, locking you out of the newly created account. This completely defeats the purpose of saving the password...

- Noté 5 sur 5par Lilouhh, il y a 7 moisSwitched from LastPass to Proton Pass and I didn't regret it. It's more user-friendly, intuitive and offer great features such as aliases to protect your sensitive data. Really recommend!

The ease of use, the ability to safely manage and share passwords between devices, create email aliases to deal with spam etc., makes our digital journey so much safer and easier.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Mikester, il y a 7 moisHuge fan of Proton Pass after trying many of the popular ones (Lastpass, 1Password, etc...) this one stuck for me. On all my devices, it just works.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18851139 de Firefox, il y a 7 moisThis works almost seamlessly. (I've only had two sites that don't ask to autofill). The ability to copy information from the box simply by clicking is a huge time saver when working with multiple browsers or private windows. There are no ads, it's very intuitive, and I don't have to worry about mega corps having anything to do with my logins from the management side. I highly recommend!

- Noté 5 sur 5par Chris_G, il y a 7 moisI've been using Proton Pass for over a year now and my experience has been excellent. I've found that a lot of security products don't focus - or sometimes even offer - protections against physical access to your device. Proton and their products are an exception to this. It's possible to configure Proton Pass to require a 6-digit pin to access after as little as a minute from your previous use. I've also found the feature for hiding your email particularly useful. Some websites won't accept the emails it generates as valid but most will. It allows you to use a different address for each sign up which can all forward to the same proton mail account. The individual emails can also be disabled at will - so if one login gets compromised by a data breach or other you can just disable that email and prevent your inbox from being flooded. It's replaced my old system of creating a new gmail account every so often. I highly recommend this product. I use the paid version as it was included with my Proton Drive subscription, however I'm certain that like other proton products the free version is completely sufficient by itself.
I also can not sing the praises of Proton enough. Proton is a rare company in the realm of cybersecurity products in that they - at least in my experience - genuinely exist with the sole purpose of helping people by providing high functionality products. I've seen so many other cybersecurity products that do little more than provide a borderline false sense of security while relying on fear-mongering advertisements to generate sales and proton is one of the few exceptions to this. I think this is best attested to by the fact that the free versions of their products include all of the most important features and are self sufficient - rather than being designed as funnels into their subscription service.
