For example, folks with better eye-sight than I, may not notice that "dark mode" usually needs the font size bumped on point. There was subtle structural stuff missing on gmail and facebook just due to colour choices, etc. 'General composition and layout' rules cast white space in the role of "framing". When that is removed, something extra is needed to maintain the relationships and flow hints from a UX perspective.
The thing that really decided it for me as shadow text is not at all handled well. Lots of stuff was so fuzzed that I couldn't read it. As I say, put aside time to TWEAK your favourite sites.
I love the plugin. At this time, I can't really realise the benefits. - Noté 5 sur 5par John Little, il y a 6 ans

When I have used the Overdrive the High Contrast it never over rides it. I keep getting the window with the high cap A and low cap a. Al of this takes out the enjoyment of using FIREFOX. I use high black contrast due to my vision. Up to about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I never had a problem with this but now it shows up and delays me getting into the website of my choice. Un and reinstalling dows not correct the issue. I said this in case as in the past this is the info that I got.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Xenofox, il y a 6 ansI use it since years and I really love it. Websites should always look like what this addon makes 'em look like!
Edit (2021.03): I really encourage the developer to bring a version for Firefox Android/mobile. Please do this favor to your users and "want-to-users".
Right now I'm using dark reader (https://addons.vaultpit.io/en-US/firefox/addon/darkreader/) for this purpose. But It just isn't as good, versatile and easy to use for every website as "Dark Background and Light Text" is. It simply doesn't work on lots of sites or breaks the sites. So you have to fiddle around till it somehow halfly works (often if nothing other works you have to use the static mode. Which only makes the background dark but ignores your text colour settings, and makes the text white). - Noté 5 sur 5par Alf Drieselmann, il y a 6 ans
