its hard to find an eBook reader you like as a visually impaired person, owing to the lack of them. This extension is nearly all that I want though, and the layout isn't bad either. I only wish there was a history of your recently opened books. I also like how it automatically puts you on the page you were on when you open a book, as opposed to putting you at the start of the book

This extension works fine with a web page (which is a typical feature of others tools like this), BUT the reading from a pdf or epub file is the coolest feature because it's the typical case use for practicing speed reading.

Bloody thing has no instructions to use it.

Плюсы: открывает локальные .epub-файлы, есть темная тема. Минусы: нет настройки гарнитуры (как минимум - отображение текста гарнитурой без засечек); изменение кегля - только изменением масштаба всей страницы (стандартный слишком мелкий); содержание документа отображается настолько уплотненным шрифтом, что прочитать его невозможно; не настроить свои цвета текста и фона; не выставить настройку инвертирования изображений; не поддерживается листание Page Up / Page Down (только стрелки влево / вправо и колесо мыши).

Works well for smaller PDFs, but I tried using it for my university text book (3440 KB) and it did not load. This may be because the file is to large? Maybe you can read it in parts?

Otherwise a great extension for reading shorter PDFs.
