Still not been able to get to the bottom of it.
This happens in new versions of FF on both W10 Pro and W7 Enterprise.
Still not sure why this happens.
It gets very annoying to continuously have to pin the Group Speed Dial tab. Wish I could have the old Speed Dial tab back as that was very reliable!Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 añosHello,
This is a Firefox bug - every add-on that you pin will disappear after it's upgrade. And since I'm actively developing my add-on, there is a lot of disappearing (I've released new version even today).
I could program a work-around that would store the position of pinned tabs and then restore them after the upgrade, but it's not easy and there is just no time for that right now (I'm really sorry, but as a full-time addon developer my income is now extremely low and I need to focus on things that maters...).
Have a nice day :)

Speed dial was really great extension - much easier to use and more convenient. That's why I started using Waterfox as other very useful extensions were dumped from Firefox too (like FireFTP and FireSSH etc..). Too bad. Firefox used to be my favorite browser. Latest changes were a big step backwards in my view.

publicado el hace 8 añosHello,
I'm sorry to hear that. If you could send me an e-mail with specific issues, I'm sure I can improve stuff.
The feedback is very important as for me as author, everything seems simple and intuitive (even when it's not).
Have a nice day :)

I had to leave the best browser ever (Opera 12) since it had more and more problems with web pages. The new Opera, Chrome and Firefox never came close to the Opera 12 speed dial.
Until I found this GEM. For the first time I can have as many speed dials I want on one page and can move them where I want because the rest just does not fill up the empty space automatically.
Instead of the sad story Vivaldi (been with them for 2 years and was waiting for them to get better) where I still need to use the scroll-bar, here you have as many pages as you want and every page can have a different number of dials. Want 9, 12, 30, 50, 300 NO PROBLEM!
Finally my idea with a "desktop like shortcuts" speed dial is reality!
THANK you so much for the best speed dial ever! - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13010173, hace 8 años

Thank you for the review.
The "Crop / Scale" feature has been just released in 8.7 version!
I hope you will like it as much as I do :)

publicado el hace 8 añosHello,
Sadly access to local .html files is now completely blocked by Firefox internal security for all add-ons. You can create such links in my speed dial, but Firefox won't allow you to click on them.
More boring info here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/WebExtensions/Filesystem
Situation in Chrome browser is very similar but Chrome added option (checkbox) to enable access to local files for specific add-on on their add-ons page.
I hope something similar will come to Firefox one day, but until then, there is nothing I can do about it.
I'm sorry for bad news...
