por bugfix2, hace 8 añosI've planned to use this add-on as privacy tool, for discarding tracking tokens (like google "utm_source") from URL and bypassing "away scripts" (that counts what external URL user clicked).
Unfortunately, this add-on first visits unmodified address, and only if original page loaded, redirects to another page).
Thus, it's useless for privacy purpose.
P.S. Updated FF to 55.0.3, issue is gone.

Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 añosNormally it doesn't send a request to the original address. However, since FF 52 there' this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1345893 which always sends a request to the original url first. It's fixed and should be released in Firefox 55 apparently.

And on mobile! Use it to go around annoying mobile/desktop toggle sites. Mostly just skip the mobile site entirely 😁 if I want the mobile site only, I can just find their app 🙄 - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Aengine, hace 4 mesesI've used this for a while to change site homepages and the like. Very easy to use, very user-friendly.

- Se valoró con 5 de 5por ZX81, hace 5 mesesSince "Block Site" no longer reliably redirects live.vodafone.* to another site, I was forced to look for an alternative solution - and that's how I found "Redirector," which has been working great so far.

Now I don't have to. This made my life so much happier
