About this extension
DecayBlock is a browser extension that helps you control how much time you spend on distracting websites. It does this by adding a temporary timeout before you can access them.
How it works:
How it works:
- Add websites to your Dashboard and choose how to regulate them: either apply a timeout or block them entirely. You can also categorize sites, like social media or news, or permanently block content such as adult sites.
- When you visit a regulated site, a timeout is applied before you gain access. This timeout increases with continued browsing, gently nudging you to adjust your habits.
- When you stop visiting regulated websites, your accumulated timeout gradually decreases.
- You can easily customize the "Timeout Growth Rate" (how quickly the timeout builds) and the "Decay Half-Life" (how fast it reduces) to tailor the extension to your personal productivity goals.
- You can also view a chart of your timeout history to see your progress.
