Blue Blocker by Liquid Nitrogen

by Merak Bear, 2 years agoWorks exactly as described, and has made my timeline much cleaner. It's nice because (since blocks work Twitter-side and not device-side), any blocks this extension makes on desktop will of course carry over to mobile.
The only thing I would love to see on this extension would be a way to see a list of users it has blocked (rather than just the queue). It's blocked a few folks I didn't really intend for it to block (not the extension's fault; just people I wasn't following or thinking about when I installed it), and I don't always catch the pop-ups, so it would be nice to have a list of blocked accounts that I could go back and review periodically. But that's such a minor gripe, and it's not really anything WRONG with the extension; just something I'd like to see. So definitely still giving it 5 stars because it's worth it!

posted 2 years agohello, as of v0.3.4, you can click the block count in the context menu (the menu that's opened by clicking the extension icon in your browser toolbar) to open a full history of all users blocked by the extension and why. note that this history is installation-specific, so your history will vary on different devices if you use more than one.

- Rated 2 out of 5by b____, 4 months agoWorked great for a while, but recently began blocking accounts I follow despite telling it not to do that. Had to uninstall as a result.

posted 4 months agoHi, so sorry that you had that problem! We recently updated the addon to fix this issue, which is currently live (v0.4.17) - Rated 3 out of 5by Bryan, 5 months agoI like it overall. as its a needed feature for twitter since they offered paid exposure and there are so many bots on the website
HOWEVER. it is INSANELY annoying when you click a post and it instantly blocks the person whos post you clicked and kicks you back to your home page leaving you unable to find the post you literally just clicked on.Developer response
posted 4 months agoHi Bryan, I've gone ahead and created an issue for this on the GitHub. We'll get to work seeing if there's a good way of making the addon not behave like that. - Rated 5 out of 5by Loewi, 5 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by KlooKloo, 10 months agolol, it took long enough for Mozilla to approve this that Twitter died. Great job anyway, team!

- Rated 2 out of 5by Anicka dlc, a year agoThe Add-on used work great but when Twitter changed the domain to X.com, the developer didn't update it. so it doesn't work on x.com but it does in twitter.com (although it redirects automatically to x if you access via twitter.com)

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18622215, a year agoThe site is still looking for "twitter.com", which is no longer accessible. Please change it to look for "x.com".

posted 10 months agoUnfortunately, we don't know. Feel free to check the Github (https://github.com/kheina-com/Blue-Blocker) to see the latest news- Rated 5 out of 5by Lukadjo, a year agoIt's great and all but the update that fixes the change to x.com still not being pushed is very annoying. I understand that this is outside of the extension developers power, but it's still a problem, especially on android where you can't install add-ons from a file
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18523631, a year agoIt just doesn't work anymore. Before May i was a lifesaver, then nothing. Having read on github about newest version i removed and reinstalled addon, nothing. Dont bother adding to Firefox. To make it work you have to go through the palava of going to github grabbing a zip and then running as a temp addon
