Great to see support for right click on Mac in Firefox 58! However, it's extremely unresponsive, doesn't work e.g. in tabs that are loading and not yet rendered.

Edit: Wow, that really sucks.

This is a known API limitation and stated in the addon description. No addon will be able to run code before the website is at least partially loaded.
